Ralph began his career in Industrial Relations as a union official for the Federated Clerks Union.
He then became President of that union and served on other national union organisations. He is currently a member of several Government Advisory Boards.
Ralph was elected to the South Australian Parliament in 1993 and held many portfolios and positions during his political career.
After leaving politics he was elected to the Adelaide City Council where he served for several years.
A broad sense of humour and quick wit enables Ralph to make his point succinctly and effectively.
