Hayley Frazer is a South Australian author and storyteller who uses her lived experience of dyslexia and dysgraphia to champion inclusion, creativity, and belonging. Her work invites people of all ages and abilities to connect through stories, imagination, and shared creative expression. 

At 15, Hayley wrote and published her first picture book, ‘Something a Little Different’, which was shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year (2020) and selected for the Premier’s Reading Challenge in both South Australia and Victoria. She has since continued to develop neurodiversity‑informed literacy and storytelling programs that empower individuals to express themselves with confidence. 

She brings imagination to life through projects such as ‘The Magical Tram’, a playful and heart‑filled storytelling experience that celebrates memory, adventure, and the joy of shared journeys. 

Hayley’s creative practice extends beyond her books and workshops. She also co‑designs accessible, visual‑first storytelling experiences. 

During the COVID‑19 pandemic, she adapted and expanded access to her work by producing online creative resources for educators and families. 

Through her writing, workshops, and community engagement, Hayley fosters creativity and celebrates the diverse stories that shape South Australia.
