The Australia Day Council of South Australia is thrilled to announce the latest chapter in our Inspiring Women Series – “The Inspiring Women Impacting the World and Beyond – Women In Defence.”

- Jessica Pisani, Executive Director, Strategic Engagement, Office for AUKUS, Department of the Premier and Cabinet: With a career spanning over two decades, Jessica has been at the forefront of defence diplomacy and strategic policy. - Kate van Hilst, First Assistant Director General SSN Construction, Australian Submarine Agency: Kate’s expertise in submarine construction has positioned her as a leading authority in underwater defence technology. Under her guidance, the SSN program has seen remarkable advancements, reinforcing Australia’s maritime security.
- Libby Day, Chief Executive Officer, Defence Teaming Centre: As the CEO of the Defence Teaming Centre, Libby has championed the collaboration between defence industries and educational institutions. Her dedication to nurturing talent and innovation has been pivotal in driving the sector’s growth.
