Professor Jennifer McKay AM is an academic lawyer with a passion for research to celebrate some but reform other laws to achieve a sound and clean environment for future generations. Professor McKay has conducted research in all Australian states and been a trusted advisor to governments to move toward inclusive laws on water and environmental management.

Jennifer is a lover of trees and animals and enjoys the outback and meeting community members engaged in actions to improve our common future. Professor McKay has researched on laws in the US, India, Fiji and Vietnam and take a human rights-based approach. 

 

Jennifer has two adult children, five dogs, completed the Heysen trail in 2018, renovated an old home and enjoyed nine Variety car events to every part of SA and parts of other States across the country.

For 28 years veterinarian surgeon Dr Bob Irving spent half of each year travelling to Aboriginal remote communities in the Anangu-Yankunyjatjara-Pitjantjatjara (AYP) lands in South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory to treat sick animals, mostly dogs.
