Lynn Hill

Co-founder of Dragon Boat Racing for survivors of Breast Cancer

Lynn grew up in Adelaide, owned her own business and was a keen volunteer with Schools and Charities.

She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2000 and from then her journey began into raising awareness of cancer in the sport of Dragon Boat Racing.

Lynn was involved with Dragon boat racing since 2000, winning Gold, Silver & Bronze medals in Australia, Italy, South Africa, Indonesia & Malaysia. Lynn helped form 2 clubs of Breast cancer Survivors in Adelaide, another in the Riverland and then teams in Penang & KL in Malaysia. Participating in paddling, fund-raising & Public Relations was her passion whilst promoting awareness and early detection of cancer. Promoting the importance of exercise after Cancer surgery.

Lynn won the Zonta Woman of the Year award & Council of the Ageing (COTA) Every Generation award for promoting involvement in physical activity for the over 50’s.
