Quote from Australia Day Council SA, Jan Chorley, Chief Executive Officer

Eddie is an inspiring Australian, whose contributions are making our nation a better place, and is making a real difference to the lives of students and teachers across the country.

His passion and energy for teaching and shaping young lives is second-to-none, and  we are looking forward to bringing his infectious enthusiasm to South Australia.

The Australia Day Council of South Australia is so excited to be partnering with the Department of Education to bring Eddie to South Australia.

Quote from SA Minister for Education, John Gardner:

Eddie is the closest thing you can get to a mathematics rock star and it is fantastic to see the level of engagement and enthusiasm he is able to draw out of students.

High level maths skills are critically important, so it is great to see so many students exploring mathematics and developing their understanding of the key concepts.

Eddie’s visit is a tremendous opportunity for students and teachers and I am grateful to the Australia Day Council of SA for helping to make it happen.
